About Weizmann Day School

Weizmann Day School is a non-profit, independent, co-educational K-8 Jewish school established in 1983 and named after Chaim Weizmann, noted scientist and Israel’s first President. Our founding families, many of whom continue to actively support the school, recognized the value Jewish education offers in ensuring continuity of the Jewish community and developing our next generation of leaders. We welcome students and families from a diverse array of Jewish, interfaith and other backgrounds.

With our recent expansion, we offer Kindergarten through eighth grade and are accredited by the Western Association of School and Colleges and affiliated with the Board of Jewish Education. Our campus is located in Pasadena, near the beautiful Eaton Canyon nature preserve. Weizmann graduates transition seamlessly to the area’s leading private secondary schools including Flintridge Preparatory, Pasadena Polytechnic School, Westridge and Waverly, as well as honors and gifted programs at local public schools.   Our alumni have also gone on to attend selective universities including University of California at Berkeley, University of Southern California, and New York University.
